Mountain Residence Merk is located in the middle of the forest in a very quiet area, approximately 1 km from the center of Selva in Val Gardena and 500m from the ski lifts (accessible on foot, by car, or by ski bus / regular bus). The ski bus and regular bus stop is right above our private parking area. The use of public transportation is free for all our guests with the Val Gardena Mobile Card. Thanks to a well-developed public bus network and state-of-the-art ski lifts, getting around in Val Gardena is easy and, above all, sustainable without the need for a car.

How to Reach Mountain Residence Merk in Selva in Val Gardena

By Car:
The ideal route to reach Val Gardena is via the Brenner Autobahn A22. From the South, take the route through Verona – Trento - Bolzano, and you'll reach Chiusa; from the North, follow the route Innsbruck – Brenner - Chiusa. Take the "Chiusa / Val Gardena" exit. Follow the SS242 road signs for approximately 25 km to reach Selva in Val Gardena. Once in Selva, head towards "Passo Sella and Passo Gardena," and shortly after the first hairpin turn, you'll find Mountain Residence Merk on the right.

By Train:
Frecce, Intercity, Eurocity, and regional trains stop at Bressanone or Bolzano. Some trains also stop at Chiusa and Ponte Gardena. You can reach Val Gardena in less than an hour using convenient local buses.
